Dr Ali Hassan
Dr Hassan is a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician with over a decade of clinical training within the Western Australian healthcare system. He completed residency and registrar training at major tertiary centres, including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital, and has a strong foundation in Internal Medicine that underpins his specialist geriatric practice.
He currently serves as a Consultant at Armadale Health Service within the South Metropolitan Health Service and holds accreditation at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
Dr Hassan provides comprehensive care across the full continuum of geriatric medicine, including acute inpatient consultations, specialist outpatient clinics, and personalised home-based assessments across metropolitan Perth.
His clinical interests include comprehensive geriatric assessment, cognitive and memory disorders, falls and mobility issues, Parkinson’s disease, and capacity assessment. He focuses on managing complex multi-morbidity with an emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centred care and maintaining quality of life.
